However, after hearing various horror stories about the SCSI almost-standard and mis-matches between controllers and drives, I'm volunteering to compile a list of SCSI controller/drive combinations that actually work. So...if you are currently running a system that has a SCSI controller and drive (hard drive, CD-ROM, TBU, etc.) connected to it, please *e-mail* me the controller name/model no., peripheral name/model no., Operating System, and how long you've had it running. I'll compile a list, and post when volume of replies tails off. Hopefully, this will stem the seeming incessant flow of "Will my El Cheapo SCSI controller work with the Big&Fast Corp. drive?" questions to this group.
