Message-ID: <3152@cernvax.cern.ch> Date: 22 Nov 90 09:28:35 GMT Organization: CERN, European Laboratory for Particle Physics Lines: 19 Hi net, I just received a new ESDI controller (Ultrastore 12F) with a new ESDI disk (micropolis 1664) and they work wery well togheter. This combination should replace the ST506 controller with 2 ST506 disks that currently I use (120MB + 60 MB disks, both RLL). I was wondering if I can reuse one of the disks with the Ultrastore controller instead of sell it. I have no idea if the electrical interfaces of ST506 and ESDI are compatible or not. Any idea?
