Message-ID: <27929@mimsy.umd.edu> Date: 22 Nov 90 18:08:44 GMT Sender: news@mimsy.umd.edu Reply-To: folta@tove.cs.umd.edu (Wayne Folta) Distribution: usa Organization: U of Maryland, Dept. of Computer Science, Coll. Pk., MD 20742 Lines: 13 I am interested in whether Motorola makes system kits with the 88K, ala Intel: that is, from Intel you can buy a cardcage with a MultiBus II bus, you can buy single-board CPUs and memory, and you can buy several OSs, based on their 286 or 386 chips. Does Motorola have similar products? This is for a custom, multi-processor system, so pre-packaged workstations are out. Could anyone please e-mail me info or the proper number to call for info? (I am particularly interested in what bus these products would be based on, as we need very high speed.) -- Wayne Folta (folta@cs.umd.edu 128.8.128.8)
