Summary: How to protect network ressources? Keywords: ATALK ROUTER Message-ID: <1990Nov21.052439.17462@CAM.ORG> Date: 21 Nov 90 05:24:39 GMT Organization: None Lines: 25 I am interested in knowning how some of you may have been able to implement security on AppleTalk Internets. I am looking for these specific requirements: Hide AppleShare servers Hide LaserWriters Hide Mail Servers (Microsoft Mail or QuickMail) I was extremely dissapointed to find that Liaison 3.0 doesn't improve on these types of security features, it can only hide a WHOLE ZONE at a time. The last time I posted such a message, it seems that only the GatorBox offered such security features (albeit in a limited way). Still, it seems like a very expensive way to simply protect a network. Replies by E-Mail or this newsgroup would be greatly appreciated. -- +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Pascal Gosselin | Internet: P.Gosselin@CAM.ORG Applelink: CDA0585 | | Gest-Mac Inc.
