A real comparison of the different cards could well take 20 pages, without the typical magazine bullcrap. I compared all the ones that the magazines suck up to, then bought the Mac RailGun 030-25. I see functional performance virtually identical to my IIfx. It's my understanding that as of today, NONE of the pre II mac's will EVER be able to run System 7.0. I've been told the problem is the roms & the restricted bit bus to the roms/rom environ. That MAy be wrong, and that MAY change, but apple has been strangly silent. Not even a good rumour, now that's a bad sign. I guess the moral is, unless a MFG is willing to gaurantee system 7 compatability, just never mind... al -- Al.
