I just purchased a Mac IIsi. Upon looking at the motherboard, I find that I have NO ROMS on the motherboard, and my ROMS are on the ROM SIMM. Is this common? Has this happened to others who got a IIsi? Is something wrong with my motherboard that it could not use soldered ROMS? 2. I now only have one FDHD drive, instead of the two on my SE. I picked up a friends internal 800K from an upgrade, and I would like to connect the internal type flat ribbon cable to a DB-19 connector like the external drive port. Does anyone sell such an adapter? What is the pinout of the flat ribbon cable? Then, I could make my own since the DB-19 pinout is given in the books. Any replies or inquires appreciated. I'd prefer Email, but I read notes. Write to me if you also want the answers. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- J. D.
