Message-ID: <128129@tiger.oxy.edu> Date: 24 Nov 90 16:44:16 GMT Organization: Occidental College, Los Angeles, CA 90041 Lines: 17 I am going to be getting an upgrade on my Mac II to a IIfx soon (*YEAH*), but I am worried about this memory manager bug that has been discovered in the 512K ROMs. Sooooooo, is there going to be a bugfix implemented in ROM so that new new machines will not have this problem, and if so, how do I make sure that the motherboard I get when I take my machine in has the new ROMs and not the old buggy ROMs. I am perfectly happy to wait as long as 2 or 3 months if the bugfix is due RSN. I think it would be worth it to make sure that I don't have to play with some kind of INIT to patch the problem... (For those new to the net, RSN = "Real Soon Now.")
