Can anyone tell me what the hell is up with ftp.apple.com ? I've read recently
that there was something-or-other available in the directory ~ftp/nerdtools.

I can get into this directory but I can't seem to get a directory listing. Come to think of it I can't seem to get a directory listing of the root directory
either. Is it something I'm doing wrong or do I have to be one of the
"cognoscenti".
