I'm doing FTP from a VAXcluster running MultiNet TCP/IP. I see the same
problem too--LF's with no CR's on directory listings.

Also, that FTP server is truly dumb--it won't even let me do an "ls -l",
like most other sites will.

I hate to say this, but it almost looks like ftp.apple.com has been
partially set up and then abandoned.
