Lines: 15 I am considering buying a NeXT machine, on which I will want to run software developed under X windows. I understand that X windows is available for the NeXT machine. Although I may eventually undertake development using DisplayPostscript etc., some software must run under X windows as it is large (so that I am not eager to port it) and must remain compatible with other machines. I would appreciate any comments on how easy or painful it is to use X windows on the NeXT machine. Is it going to be such a pain that I should forget about it? Is it easy? Is it possible to run both window systems simultaneously so that I can run both X and native applications? Bill
