We are an Apollo networkd with about 25 nodes. We xxx do finite element analysis and computational fluid dynamics. We write a lot of our own analysis codes and also use 3rd party software. Should we stick with Apollo or buy a VGX machine? How would you configure your dream system? What about connecting an SGI to an Apollo network. I know we can ethernet, telnet and ftp but we want something more transparent?
