Recently there were a few requests for GIF viewers and such-like for the
IRIS/PI.  I have been hacking code for a GIF viewer/GIF-to-PostScript
translator for some time and am willing to e-mail the source to anyone
interested.  Send e-mail to cliff@research.nec.com.

p.s.  I also have sources for a souped-up mandelbrot program (displays
other fractal functions besides just Mandelbrot's) and a "game of life"
program (where you can make your own rules!).  Send e-mail to the
