I just added on an external drive ( Wren VII ) and I want to know how much better is the Wren, so that I can decide whether it is worth the trouble of reorganizing the filesystems to take advantage of the difference. Also: is there anything to be gained by having several swap partitions on different drives ? Any other general pointers on how to partition disks/filesystems for best performance? Steven D.
