I was logged in and running sunview, but not typing anything at the time. A few other users were logged in, but I don't think they were doing anything unusual ( telnet to an IBM 3090, reading News, etc. ). I was talking to a sales rep and turned to look at the console, when I noticed the machine rebooting! ? The log in /var/sdm/messages follows: Nov 2 11:24:12 brazil vmunix: panic: vn_rele Nov 2 11:24:12 brazil vmunix: syncing file systems... done Nov 2 11:24:12 brazil vmunix: Nov 2 11:24:12 brazil vmunix: dumping to vp f0efeb4, offset 49258 Nov 2 11:24:12 brazil vmunix: 1022 total pages, dump succeeded Nov 2 11:24:12 brazil vmunix: rebooting... Has anyone heard of this before? Brian Berndt brian@psych.purdue.edu
