Just got some 4.1 Suns connected together and am trying to focus the
outbound mail thru ONE host ( master .. not subsidiary ) and using the
file that worked so well on my 4.0.3 .. sendmail -bt says everything going
out is going to go to the master .. :-( /var/log/syslog and the
mailer-daemon )-: tell me that sendmail -bt lies and only my
user@host.uucp and local mail go as directed.  Well only the mailhost has
forwarding to the internet and I need to focus outbound mail there.  

Can anyone suggest which rule fragment to hack and how .. there are many
lines that refer to this but I can find NO examples .. HELP ...

Likewise, is the only thing I need for inbound from outside the MX
records?

What do I need to assure that only the master writes mail to
master:/var/spool /mail ??  All ideas greatly appreciated.  /Ev/
