Sorry to be jumping on bandwagons right here, but I've recently been hearing a lot about SGML (The Standard Generalized Mark-up Language). Apparently this new standard allows style independent description of documents, which can then be marked up by any typesetting package. Is there any possibility that TeX implementations to deal with SGML documents will be forthcoming? ...John
