But, for us poor people, there is an el cheapo solution. Get GhostScript. This is the GNU implementation of Postscript. You can find it on a lot of FTP addresses in the GNU directory. E.g. on prep.ai.mit.edu, which is home-of-gnu. The program works good, *BUT* there is a big *BUT*! If you use GhostScript because you're poor, chances are good, you cannot afford to buy expensive fonts. So you'll have to use the el cheapo/for free fonts that come with the package. This makes the output much less than attractive, but sometimes when you have to choose between ugly prints and no print at all, sometimes, you might want to decide in favour of printing.
