Message-ID: <25028@adm.brl.mil> Date: 17 Nov 90 17:18:07 GMT Sender: news@adm.brl.mil Lines: 13 I just saw an add in DDJ about Mark William's Coherent. It's touted as a true Unix OS for PC's (80286, 80386, 80486). It's cheap ($99.95) and small (10 megs, 640k RAM). It even resides with MSDOS. This looks very interesting to me since I use MSDOS and hate it. I'd love to put Unix on my PC and was wondering if any of you have tried Coherent, could you please relate some problems/limitations/incompatability (with DOS software) you've experienced? This list is busy enough. Please respond directly to me and I'll post a summary. Thanks in advance! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- -- Jeff Poulin | Internet: poulin@polar.bowdoin.edu | #include "cute_quote.h" | Bitnet: jpoulin@bowdoin.bitnet | -----------------------------------------------------------------------
