VMS version is 5.3-1. A few tape > drives, too. I have not tried a CI cluster with VMS and ULTRIX but we did operate for some time with multiple VMS clusters on the same CI. We found the hard way that disks could become corrupt just by mounting them on two indpendent clusters at the same time. It was not necessary for any transactions to occure on either system. If I were going to attempt VMS and ULTRIX on the same CI, I think I would set the ULTRIX device /noavaliable on the VMS system and remove the device special files for the VMS disks from the ULTRIX system. --Bill Braden (Measurex Inc.)
