It lets you use the alt, or control, or shift, or whatever keys to shut up the voice. If you don't have it let me know and I"ll send you the materials to get it working--its only about 4 lines of PAL code that you include in your srd,kpj file. Basically you just insert a $include statement with the extra file name in the core.kpd file and recompile the core/etc. files and off you go. It works really well.
