I've read of a one handed keyboard, which is shaped like this:

              O    O          For the fingers
          O             O

       O
              Two buttons for the thumb
     O

It is apparently possible to type uppercase, lowercase, and
punctuation symbols. It would require good co-ordination on one
hand at least, as the buttons are pressed down in combinations to
generate a character.
