I cite particularly ours, which generates 7-digit (base 36 digits) message IDs. We did not find the default C news message-IDs, which read like Russian novels, suitable. The program "seq.c" which generates these message-IDs is available as a ``shar'' file upon e-mailed application to me at the address shown above. Act now, and receive at no extra charge the patch to the "anne.jones" script to use this program.
