Patch 19 is dated October 30, 1989.  It's been a long time since the
last patch (especially considering that patch 19 introduced a bug in
sendbatch).  Has Rick Adams made a declaration that he will no longer
continue to work on Bnews and I missed it?  This might be reasonable
given the popularity of Cnews and the promise of News 3.0.  I haven't
heard anything about News 3.0 (TMNN) in a while.  Is that project
dead?  Please don't tell me to change to Cnews.  I've heard all the
arguments on both sides (I still look at Cnews with every patch and I'm
not quite ready to change to it).
