This will probably break your method of analysis further. At the moment though, this certainly gives a different picture than a version control, since generating automatic replys isn't always easy... However, is there any chance that the patchdate could be included in the version reply with future versions of Cnews? The simple 'C' we get now, doesn't give much information really.
