I read some features in a hifi magazine and they seem interesting. The chip has two one bit DAC's, no digital filter and can interface with filters of 16, 18 and 20 bits, with oversampling rates as high as 8! It is now used in the very expensive Meridiam 603 converter and just yesterday I read a review of the new Deltec PDM1 Mk2 converter which started using this chip too. The reviewer said something about an upgrading kit for old Deltecs, but any one else seems to know about it. He also says that the digital filter is sourced from Yahama. I tried getting the application from Philips, but got no answer. ........................................................ Francisco A. F. Fraga Dept. Physics Univ.
