Hmmm,
I think you can still go to Radio shack and order crystals of any
Megahertz from them.  They are supposed to be used in those ancient
police scanners that use crystals.  I bought 2 crystals of 472 megahertz
range... they should have the 40 meg you need.  Call em and see.
