I recieved a number of replies for which I am very thankful. I have another question along the same lines. Has anyone *used* a public software for pcb's successfully and if you have could you please send me the ftp addr/source for it? Preferaby something that can be compiled on an Apollo or a DEC station or a IBM PC. Someone else also put a request for this software. I don't remember who, but if you wish, I could send you a compilation of all the replies that I got. For the replies on the Digital tachometer, for which I sometimes still get mail, thank you. Turns out that it is not quite that much of a deal. FYI, the tach output point on the coil, to a vtg. divider and a schmitt, with a .6 sec gated input to a counter-latch-decoder- driver to a 7 seg. led is the choice and is in the making. Now I begin to wonder if the analog tach. won't look better. :-) --Shailendra -- Physical: Shailendra Save, Logical: ssave@caen.engin.umich.edu 2303 Conger Baits II, UUCP: ...!umix!caen.engin.umich.edu!ssave Ann Arbor.
