There was an article in yesterdays New York Times outlining the obvious four alternatives for taking Kuwait back. One of them involved the carpet bombing of Kuwait infantry which would require ole BUFF (aka B-52). I understand we have BUFFs based on Diego Garcia but more would have to be deployed if we were to undertake the carpet bombing mission.
