I'd like to know if any of you have heard of the field of
transpersonal psychology, which is an attempt to connect 
western and eastern psychologies, without corrupting either
(that's my interpretation). Many transpersonal psychologists
are practicing Buddhists, and there is a lot of Buddhist influence
in the field.

If anyone is familiar with it, I'd like to know what you think of it
from a religious perspective.
