The question was not phrased quite correctly, but the wording used does
highlight a common misconception. A lod score is itself a kind of significance
level (like a p value) so one doesn't usually calculate a confidence limit for
the lod score itself. One does use lod scores to determine confidence limits
for recombination frequencies. A good reference for that is:

Cell Genetics 40: 356-359.
