Keywords: LED, ethernetboard, 3Com Message-ID: <1990Nov28.174353.2849@diku.dk> Date: 28 Nov 90 17:43:53 GMT Sender: news@diku.dk (The Netnews System) Distribution: comp Organization: Department Of Computer Science, University Of Copenhagen Lines: 15 Now, there are two LEDs on the 3com505 Ethernet board, marked C10 and C11. When I switch the PC on, that the board is in, C10 lights up until the PC is booted. Then C10 switches off, and C11 starts blinking slow and ominous(sp?). The board doesn't pass the test-program ("Failed at reading adapter self- test result"), so were probably going to return it anyway. But out of cu- riousity, I'd like to hear if someone could tell me what the light means (if anything). - Thanks, Ole. - Ole. (nomann@diku.dk).
