I'm curious though about the distinction between unbalanced and unbalanced transmission as they relate to tp. In our brand new twisted pair layout we use identical wiring for phones and terminals (RS232). Hven't had any crosstalk yet but are we asking for trouble? Our network people assured us not. We have some runs as long as 500 ft for RS232 terminal connections in house. Also, where would be a good place to "read up on transmission"?
