Hi, Everybody:

	I am confused about MNP, V.32, V.42 and V.42bis (and maybe V.32bis). 
What do they mean?

	I am in the market for a 2400bd modem with maybe MNP5, do I need a 
upgrade to V.32 or whatever?

	I will be using the modem mainly for BBSing and call into my work
place. Most BBSes using a HST, what is the difference between transfer speed 
between HST<-->normal 2400bd, HST<-->2400(MNP5), HST<-->2400(MNP5+V.??).

	BTW, anybody have a 2400bd modem for sale?
