From what I've been told by TELEBIT, it will be a while before this new modem has V.32bis or the V.32 Rockwell option (12 kbps) enabled in any of its current, new, or future modems. With the T1500 currently at a $1095 list price, and the T1000 at $795 list, I would look for the new modem, T1600, to be at $895 list. Not much of a help to those competing in the V.32 modem wars... The T1600 is V.32 only, not PEP capable at all. It is the second generation of TELEBIT technology. It makes room for some spectacular new products that will change a lot of the way modems are used in bus-based systems. The T1600 also features a 'true' 38.4 kbps interface. Hope this helps. =============================================================================== Cerafin E.
