My coarse searches for info under image processing & cartography met with failure, perhaps due to lack of correct terminology. I apologize if I am using all the wrong names for this stuff. 1) Does anyone have any references I can chase down that explians algorithms and theory of how this is done. 2) Should there be any reason I cannot apply same to binocular digitized photographs of any object. 3) The article that sparked my renewed interest in this stuff was in _Scientific American_ (Sept '90): _Science and Business_: _Anatomical Cartography_. pp 170. Thanks for any help David C. Schuh University of Wisconsin-Medical School I will post summary to this newsgroup. if you prefer to mail response my internet address is wavey@whey.cs.wisc.edu
