I'm not sure of all the programs out there able to do it but I do know that AutoDesk Animator comes with a convertor program that will convert Amiga IFF files (typical Amiga files) over to VGA etc. Or, you can use a GIF conversion utility for the Amiga and then load them into the IBM with a GIF utility on the IBM side. Vpic, cshow, picem for the IBM to name a few. HAMGIF, HAMLAB, VirtGIF, to name a couple of Amiga GIF programs. Another possibility is to use Dpaint II Enhanced on the IBM to load in the Amiga IFF files. If you are looking to Raytrace or SolidModel 24 bit files and then move them over, you can do your rendering to RGB files on the Amiga and then use either RGBExchange 1.0 (shareware) or The Art Department (commercial) or ImageLink (commercial) to convert the 24 bit RGB images to TARGA (.TGA) format. From there you can load the .TGA images into just about anything on the IBM and get very good looking results. I also believe that there is PBM (Portable BitMap?) available for the Amiga and the IBM as well as Unix boxes. -- Bob ______ Pro-Graphics BBS "It's better than a sharp stick in the eye!" ________ UUCP: crash!pro-graphics!bobl | Pro-Graphics: 908/469-0049 ARPA/DDN: pro-graphics!bobl@nosc.mil | America Online: Graphics3d Internet: bobl@pro-graphics.cts.com | CompuServe: RIP _________ ___________ Raven Enterprises 25 Raven Avenue Piscataway, NJ 08854
