Software used: Aries Technology (Solid Modeling package) on Sun SparcStation. ME30 on HP series 9000. CADKEY on a PC. (Wireframe package) I am doing a project on Solid Modeling (a subset of Computer Aided Design). I want to obtain some information about people's experiences who are or have been involved with this technology. If you are instructing or taking a Solid Modeling class then kindly mail me your comments on the class. Some questions to answer can be: > What teaching methodologies are you using? > What method can be constructed which could be used to evaluate if a particular part is complex or simple? > What is a complex part? How does one define complex? > What concepts of Solid Modeling are essential and should be included if a course on Solid Modeling is taught? > What are some of the flaws/user-unfriendliness in the Aries Technology? > What are the limits of Aries Technology? If you can provide the above information then please send it to: email: rqureshi@wpi.wpi.edu I thank you in advance! Rizwan Qureshi Computer Science Dept./ Mechanical Engineering Dept.
