I want to be able to provide a system where staff can contribute to discussion on various matters, each of which is located in its own discussion group, just like Internet news. Naturally, I want a better interface than most News programs provide. It seems to me that in the academic environment, we waste a lot of time in meetings, when the matters could have been discussed in an electronic forum (or forums) at time which suited each of us. I will summarise to this group if others are interested. So far I have a program called NOTICE, but it is somewhat restricted. (It would probably let us get started). Someone else mentioned that WordPerfect Office might provide this capability. Any experiences? -- Roger Hadgraft | hadgraft@civeng.monash.edu.au Lecturer in Civil Engineering | Monash University | phone: +61 3 565 4983 Clayton, Vic. 3168.
