                  TENCON '91 SESSION (IEEE Region 10 Conference ) ON


                                 RAPID PROTOTYPING
                                        WITH
                          FUNCTIONAL PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES:



                                   Aug 28 - 30, 1991
                                   New Delhi, India

The session organizers under the auspices of IEEE invite submission of
paper for a session on Rapid Prototyping with Functional Programming
Languages.  The objective of this session is to address both the
theoretical and practical aspects of Rapid prototyping with functional
languages and their applications.  Topics of interest include, but not
limited to, the following:


- Language design issues including extensions to support rapid prototyping

- Combining functional language with other language approaches for rapid
  prototyping

- Formal semantic issues

- Implementation issues: Optimization, Evaluation strategies for rapid
  prototyping

- Verification, transformation and synthesis

- Symbolic processing and Rapid prototyping

- New application areas: Computer Graphics, Hardware specification
  and verification, etc.


Prospective authors should submit two copies of
an extended abstract (not exceeding 3 pages, double spaced)
of their paper to either of the organizers by Jan 10, 1991.
(If copying facilities are not available one copy will do.)
Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection by Feb 15, 1991.
Photo-ready copy of the complete paper (not exceeding 6 pages
double spaced must be received by April 15, 1991 for inclusion
in the proceedings.
Proceedings will be published by IEEE and will be distributed at
the symposium.
