Thank you for the responses concerning obtaining AKCL.

I realized that there are a few other things that I need/could use.
Are there any public-domain sources for
  a loop macro
  a defsystem
  X windows interface

I've been told that PCL can be ftp'ed from ARISIA.XEROX.COM and CLX
from EXPO.LCS.MIT.EDU.  Assuming that these are right, I still need a
defsystem.

Are there other enhancements I should be looking for?

Is there an FAQ posting that contains answers to questions like these?
