Ok,

  The problem is solved and thanks sent that way.  Simple set the file pointer
with Seek and call Truncate.  Too simple :-) almost scary 8-0!  I know RTFM,
but there are a LOT of new TP procs and funcs and it's much easier to ask a
simple question to those who may have done this before ( besides, I really
didn't think TP had such a WONDERFUL procedure built in! ) .
