Lines: 19 I purchased DesqView for my 286 machine yesterday and ran into one strange problem. During setup it installed dBase III into its list of applications. However, when I try to run dBase, the window comes up without color (I have dBase set up for white on blue, it's coming up white on black). Even worse, when I try to use edit or browse, the current record is invisible. I can see the field labels but not the contents. (I'd guess that dBASE is displaying them as black on black.) I checked the setup, and it does say that dBase should be using its own colors. If this matters, I have a 286 with Award BIOS, 1 M of memory and an ATI VGA Wonder with NEC MultiSync 2 monitor. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is going on here? Jim Mann Stratus Computer jim_mann@es.stratus.com
