	I suppose you have to write your own .CHR file. Or you could use     
PutImage. But in either case you have to get your font data. If you have an
image scanner, you could get the font data directly from a French publication.
Also try to get font data from netter in French (They might have). I strongly
doubt there is any .CHR file for other languages (Personally I am interested 
in getting .CHR file for Russian alphabet), but there definately exist a lot
of French font files for French word-processing and printers.
