Could someone describe to me what an Adaptec 4525 is?  

Also, just how *does* one get info out of Adaptec?  A call to them led
to an answering machine that requested my name, addess, phone and info
that I wanted.  It's been several days, and no sign of docs or a phone
call.  I belive that I called direct (a 408 number).
