I am using the disk mirroring facilities to mirror drive 0 onto drive 1 exactly. Apparently, the SCSI disk mirroring utilities written by AT&T generate "shadow" processes to complete their work. This situation is quite noticeable, and the ps command gives confusing results. Does anybody have any information on this implementation, why it was done, what to watch out for? Thanks in advance.
