Actually I've tried "anonymous" as userid before, I guess I just didn't spell it right. Here is the summary in case some other novices have the same ques- tion: (1) Userid may be "anonymous" or on some machines also "ftp" or "anon" (2) Password might not be required. If prompted, just enter your own id and host machine. I have another question: ************************ I plan to send some sharewares to some anonymous ftp sites. (1) Do I need to do some pre-processing before I transfer my file from PC to the mainframe via Kermit? (2) Does anybody would suggest some popular ftp sites for sending PC sharewares?
