Message-ID: <1990Nov26.194431.2953@coral.bucknell.edu> Date: 27 Nov 90 00:44:31 GMT Organization: Bucknell University, Lewisburg, PA, USA Lines: 27 I have seen a clock/calendar card for the new Amiga 500P from Applied Engineering. Since the A500P comes with 1meg, I thought that it was just a A500 with an A501 installed. A501's have a clock/calandar. I am confused. Does the A500P have: 1) a redesigned motherboard that has the 1meg of RAM chips on the motherboard and an empty slot where the A501 normally fits? 2) a new version of the A501 that does not include a clock/calendar? 3) a redesigned motherboard that has the 1meg of RAM chips on the motherboard but in the location normally reserved for the A501 and a new case that has no access panel? (really unlikely) 4) an actual A501 in it's slot, just like normal? (but why would AE sell the clock/calendar???) 5) some other combination/possibility that I have not thought of? Just curious, Dale Hollenbaugh hollnbgh@coral.bucknell.edu
