Does Addbuffers still just use chip memory? If so it should be OK right?---since the data cache is turned off for CHIP mem. I had been using BlitzDisk v2.0 from the TxED distribution before I got the accelerator and miss the big floppy cache and DIRONLY harddisk cache. I stopped using it when I got the accelerator because of occasional crashes (which I can't pin on Blitzdisk, but they've stopped since I dropped it from the startup-sequence). I suspect Blitzdisk since it uses FAST memory. I've got a non-DMA GVP hardcard. -- Bob Laughlin laughlin@cs.sfu.ca
