Name the dealer. My dealer, Software Link (White Plains, NY) was selling 1.3 machines the moment he got them. He also went back and retro-fitted all his existing stock.

   The A500 1 Meg CHIP modification will void your warranty, as of today. This is because some A500 it works others it doesn't. Also make sure you have some FAST memory available otherwise you'll get in trouble when something wants to put it's buffers into FAST memory. (ala Hard Drives.)

Yeah, right. That means the dealer is paying around $55-$60 for the parts. I don't think Commodore can sell them at that level and still turn a profit. Which is why they make the Amiga, they are not just doing it because it's a great machine.
