Well, my new 500 motherboard came with the Fatter Agnes, and I, too, have a 1084s monitor. I have had no problems with bootin in pal on the monitor -- seems to cope nicely with it, outside of a small almost unnoticable flicker. > The question is: > 1. How about many pal/ntsc switching PD/Shareware programs? > What exactly do they accomplish? I use a nice little program called bootmenu. You run it and the next time you boot, it allows you to select pal/ntsc and turn off/on autoconfig boards. There is also some other programs that sit in the bootblock and switch to pal, but I have found one problem with them: Yes, the computer goes into pal, but you don't get to use it all -- i.e. workbench and cli are still in 200 scan lines, but the computer is displaying 256 lines. In other words, those programs seem to waste the bottom part of the screen. (Not sure why, though -- any ideas?) > 3. Will it work for the upgrading WB2.0? Who knows? Will ANYTHING work with 2.0? :-) (sarcastic comment) Hope this helps. | ///| a.k.a.
